STARTING POINTS: PRESENTATION
MY PRESENTATION
Introduce Music Psychology
How does music affect the brain?

I included information based on how music affects the brain and provided them with examples of this as well as how our brain interacts with music.

Music as a therapy tool

I briefly covered how we can use music to benefit our daily lives and the impact of this, specifically talking about mental health.
Music Therapy

I then included Music Therapy and what a session involves involving musical games and improvisation with the support of a therapist. I wanted to include this topic to show my avenue of interest, focusing more on using music as a therapy tool and encourage emotional regulation.
Sustainable Fashion

I introduced this topic by outlining how we can support sustainable fashion and things we can look out for to be more eco-friendly. If I were to take this topic forward I'd definitely focus on asking how we can encourage others to do more for the environment.
What can we do?

I then provided them with examples of how we can be more sustainable including recycling and up-cycling! I also touched a little bit on fun ways to do this for example using vegetable dyes or sew on patches.

My next slide consists of examples of websites/articles which encourage sustainable fashion and provide guidance and instruction as to how to upgrade old items. An example of this includes using fabric to create something for your pet.
Compostable Clothes
I then documented a little bit of research regarding latest brand ideas and what they are doing to be more sustainable. I included my favourite find 'Compostable Clothes' which involved biologically degradable clothing. I included this to inform my audience on what brands are doing to be more eco-friendly and use this as an opportunity to be inspired.
Phobias
I introduced this topic by defining phobias and distinguishing the difference between phobias and fears - which some people are often confused about.
Eco-therapy
I briefly covered what causes a phobia as well as how phobias can make you feel which then led to my last point of interest. I aim to speak about the impact of nature-based activities on mental and physical health and share what I have learned regarding this, especially since COVID-19.
The History of Cyprus
I introduced this topic by sharing my note-taking/sketch notes of the Invasion of Cyprus and will briefly summarise the event.
Visuals
I have included my two mood-boards to show the before and after of the tragic event to help people understand the damage it caused. This also allows the audience to create a visual of what it might be like now.
Reading my mums story
I then included a slide on an interview with my mum to include personal stories and share the event from a true perspective.

Poem
To conclude my presentation I have included the poem my mum had written to close off the topic and shine a little bit of light on a sad story! This will hopefully convey the passion I have for the topic and people will want to know more about it.
FEEDBACK
I will be documenting my feedback and responses to my presentation at the start of Phase 2.
