INITIAL IDEA - WHY VR

In this section I establish my initial idea, providing Gameplay Loops and Storyboards.

I also justify my reason for my chosen platform being Virtual Reality.

PLAYER EXPERIENCE

Here you can find the development process of my game. This includes development based off feedback and surveys as well as through prototyping. I focus on achieving my essential experience and do this by developing Experience Maps taking into consideration the way the player will feel.

REFLECTIONS

Here you can find my reflections throughout the development of my game. I also documented my thoughts in terms of the current pandemic and the limitations of this.

GAMEPLAY DEVELOPMENT

Here you can find a stage-by-stage demonstration of Mechanics, Controls, Interactions and additional features throughout the experience, accompanied by visuals and design mock-ups.

DESIGN

Here you will find Design Concepts for my game. This includes inspiration mood-boards, colour schemes, character concepts, environment design, UI and HUD concepts and my reasoning for this.

PROTOTYPING

In this section I develop my game using a variety of prototyping methods and video mock-ups. I evaluate my intentions compared to the final outcome and my choice of further development according to this.
